Shepherd's Hut and Beudy Bach - The Shrine Church of Saint Melangell

A quiet day room, with simple kitchen facilities, a sofa, table and chair.

These facilities are available for you to use for a quiet day or to stay for a few nights retreat on a donation basis, to be paid securely by bank transfer or in person. Please note, no card facilities are available. Running costs are estimated to be £35 per day and contributions to the bursary fund are gladly received. A deposit of £20 is required to secure your booking, please contact us to arrange payment. If you have financial difficulties please contact us as bursaries are available to help with the cost of your accommodation.

Please be aware smoking is not permitted in any part of the site and accommodation is offered on a self catering basis.

Please contact us on admin@stmelangell.org to book or ask for further details. The Shepherd’s Hut provides a comfortable space for sleeping, writing and quiet reflection. In the hut, there is a single bed, writing desk and chair, and an armchair. While Beudy bach is for your sole use while staying in the Shepherd’s Hut. It has a self-catering kitchen; dining area; and sofa. There are clean and simple toilet facilities, located next to the Shepherd’s hut in your private garden area, as well as access to a shower and further facilities in the St Melangell Centre.
